HBC Academy

HBC Academy is a Microsoft IT Academy (Office Specialist and Professional), a Cisco Regional Academy and a Prometric Testing Centre, a non-profit organisation who are dedicated to educating people of all ages and from all walks of life in various IT areas. HBC are partners with OCR and Bexley College. Instructors are highly trained and among the most dedicated in the industry for effective teaching. HBC has an IIP Status.

• Has run a successful fully accredited Bible College for the past nine years, developing the curriculum, preparing assessments and taking the programme through the OCN accreditation process.
  
• Trained as a Minister and taught Biblical studies for 18 years.
  
• HBC Academy has successfully developed a programme offering subjects including key skills, basic IT via OCR to a fully rounded package, including mentoring, counseling, personal development and instructor training.
  
• Successfully managed and delivered SRB funded project. Achieved 51 against the target of 38 all achieving an OCN Level 3 in PC Connectivity (CCNA 1-4).
  
• Established good working rapport and pan London partnerships.
  
• Training in Organisation, Administration, Structure, Decision-Making, Delegation and Management and also train the trainer.
  

HBC Academy has a proven track record of delivering IT training to employees of SMEs throughout south London. They are contracted to deliver instructor training to Cisco Local Academies, they have a 98% success rate in the area. Through contact with HR and Training departments they have been able to train 20 new instructors from different organisations over the past 12 months. HBC currently has around 100 registered students in training(a mixture of employed and unemployed).

They are also working in partnership with the Portobello Business Centre to deliver training to SMEs via a Work Based Enhancement Project
